Some things that we have been done are... we went to Cousin Ty and Rhett's Bday party and Ty's baptism a week after brayli was born. Daring i know, but i couldn't imgine missing out on Ty's Special day. Family isvery important to me.

Brayli was blessed on October 2nd 2011 at my parents home in bedford, wy. Since her dad was not able to do the blessing, her grandpa Bryant McKen did the blessing. He gave a very beautiful blessing. We were able to have all my siblings attend. This doesn't happen much any more, especially with my brother mitch drivng semi- truck. Those that were able to help with the blessing included: my dad, chad's dad, my grandpa turner, chad's brother andy, and our Bishop Larry Bates. We are also blessed to have my grandma Edwards, and aunt trudy come. Also, chad's brother andy and his wife came from laramie, wy to support us. We were so thankful for the support that family showed us at such a special time. Brayli was able to wear the dress that i was blessed in, of which my mother made.

We went hiking the intermiten spring in afton,wy with my sister Brooke and her family when they came to visit shortly before halloween. My neice Halley helped brayli paint a pumkin and we took cookies to the neighbors. ( some thing we enjoy i you get thi ghost and i has a poem with it and you choose two neighbors to take them to, you leave them a copy of the ghost and poem and you knock and run) I have done this with halley a few times now, and i must say it's pretty fun!

We enjoyed spending thanksgiving with my family, and we were blessed to have all of us together again.

Decembr 10th we were able to go visit aunt brooke and her family and then go to temple square as a family and see the lights, we also went to dinner. We rode the trax from ogden to SLC and the kids all loved it. This was all of our first time riding the trax and it was fun. We were sad that ashley could not join us. Mom's birthday was Dec 7th. So this was her birthday fun.


Two days before christmas brayli and I had our first little scare. We had been in afton visiting with chad's family and on the way home we run off the road. We were okay and i must say i will never live it down, because i had been messing on my phone. I felt like a horrible mom, for putting my daughters life in danger. The next day was christmas eve, which we got a surprise that chad was coming home for christmas and would be staying for 2 weeks. Brayli and I spent christmas with my family.Brayli didn't really understand what was going on, so this year should be a little more exciting.
